Fish Vendor na Kinulong Dahil Walang Face Mask, Nakatanggap ng Regalo kay Coco Martin!

Many people are struggling due to the community quarantine that has taken place in many parts of the Philippines. To combat the spread of COVID-19, the government has implemented many rules, including requiring a face mask and a travel pass in order to limit the people on the streets. Among those who violated this rule is this elderly fish vendor.

Earlier this month, an elderly fish vendor named Mang Dodong was apprehended by the authorities while he was on his way to the port to get supplies. He drew attention from the police because he was not wearing any face mask. When asked for his travel pass, he also couldn’t provide any.

Because of this, he was arrested for violating the quarantine protocols. Mang Dodong was taken to the jail, where he had to sit in a cramped facility with over 1000 fellow prisoners. Just because he was not wearing a face mask, Mang Dodong had to spend 11 days in prison.

But when he got out, little did the fish vendor knew that good things were waiting for him! Kapamilya actor Coco Martin heard of his situation and decided to help out. When Mang Dodong got out of prison, the “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” actor prepared a surprise for him.

Coco Martin and his team reached out to Mang Dodong and helped him. The actor himself sent relief goods for Mang Dodong and his family. In addition to this, Coco Martin even provided generous cash assistance, as well as a sidecar for Mang Dodong’s business!

As you may well expect, Mang Dodong was over the clouds after seeing this surprise. With his new sidecar, he can finally sell more fish. But this time, he made sure to obtain a travel pass so he will no longer be flagged by the authorities.

Pinay Caregiver, Nakatanggap ng House and Lot Mula kay Michael Buble!

As the old saying goes, you reap what you sow. The kindness and compassion that you gave others will eventually come back to you later in life. It might take a long time, but the seed of kindness will grow. This is also what happened to this Pinay caregiver, who received a house and lot from her employers.

Pinay caregiver Minette worked in Canada in order to provide a better life for her family. For eight years, she was blessed to have worked for a kind and loving family who has also treated her like one of their own. Her patient is Demetrio Buble, who also happens to be the grandfather of international singer Michael Buble!

For eight years, Minette and Demetrio have grown close to one another. For her part, Minette has taken good care of her elderly patient. So when he finally passed away, Demetrio made sure that his kindhearted Pinay caregiver will be taken care of. Before passing, he instructed his family to give Minette with a big surprise!

In order to fulfill their grandfather’s last wishes, the family decided to give Minette their grandfather’s house and lot in Vancouver, Canada! The turnover surprise was featured in the reality program “Celerity IOU.” As expected, Minette was over the clouds after seeing this big surprise.

According to Michael Buble, this place was built by his grandfather himself during the 1970s. Even the furniture of the house was hand-picked by his grandfather too. According to Minette, this house is also very special to her because she has a lot of happy memories in this house.

“I think my grandpa would be thrilled knowing that we could maybe lessen the burden a little bit in allowing Minette to continue helping her family without it being so hard on her. She’s really compassionate, kind, and an empathetic human being with a great sense of humor, a great zest for life, who sort of never did anything for herself,” says Michael.
